Click Wrap Agreements are another handy way to get your users to agree to your terms and conditions.
These bad boys require a website visitor to take expressly agree to the terms and conditions through an affirmative action like clicking a button or checking a box or shouting I LOVE THIS WEBSITE. Okay not the last one. Usually they have to do this before accessing the site or some specific part of it.
Courts almost always uphold Click-Wrap Agreements since, ya know, a visitor received notice of the terms and conditions, was given the chance to read through ‘em (since we all diligently do that, right? Oops.) and then checked a box or clicked okay. Click-Wraps are a pretty surefire way to make sure your T&Cs are being agreed to, and almost as delicious as the buffalo chicken wrap agreement I made at lunch.
